Feeling incredibly grateful to call Henry County home today. ❤️👇

Community isn’t just a line on a map—it’s the people who fill it. Lately, we’ve just been sitting with how incredibly lucky I am to be surrounded by all of you.

It’s especially hit home this week because we officially hit our one-year anniversary of being open for business!
Looking back on this past year, we are just blown away.

Whether it's bumping into familiar faces around the Clinton square, enjoying quiet evenings near Truman Lake, or watching how everyone here pulls together when our neighbors need it most, we are constantly reminded of how special this county is. We’ve been through a lot of crazy weather and a lot of seasons together, but the heart of this place never wavers.

To every single person in Clinton, Windsor, and all across Henry County who has trusted us, shown up, reached out, or offered a kind word over the last 12 months: THANK YOU!

Your ongoing support means more than we could ever properly put into words. You didn't just support a business; you supported a dream and a local family. It’s the quiet reminders that we’re all in this together that make this place so special.

OMG! It feels like just yesterday we dropped our little one off for her first day of pre-K, tears in our eyes as we watched her walk into her classroom. Our hearts are so full seeing how much she’s grown, the knowledge she’s gained, and the friendships she’s formed. A huge thank you to Ms. Madi for taking on the challenging task of wrangling these munchkins every day and joyfully guiding them into becoming the bright individuals they are today.

And just like that....another school year has come and gone.

❤️ Moments like this.....little arms wrapped tightly around a beloved teacher.....remind us what an impact our educators make every single day and what an honor it is to do this work together.

🙌 Thank you to our incredible students, families, community, and staff for a year filled with learning, fun, and countless Cardinal memories.

To our graduates, retirees, and everyone moving on to new adventures, we will miss you. And to the rest of our Cardinals, we can’t wait to welcome you back in August (August 26 to be exact😉).

Size matters when it comes to glass! 🚜💨

We’ve been spending a lot of time out in the fields lately, and let’s just say these tractor windshields aren’t getting any smaller!

There’s something incredibly satisfying about getting a massive piece of glass perfectly set so our local farmers can get back to work with a clear view. We had a blast tackling these recent replacements. If it has wheels and glass, we can fix it!

To my friends and neighbors here in Clinton,
I am still processing everything that happened yesterday evening. Watching that storm pass right over our heads was a moment I’ll never forget, and as I hold my family a little closer today, my heart is truly with every one of you who experienced that same fear or is now facing the long road of cleaning up.
But even through the damage, what I keep seeing today is something far more powerful than any storm: the heart of this town. Seeing neighbors immediately out in the streets, flashlights in hand, checking on one another and offering a shoulder to lean on has been the most beautiful thing to witness. It’s a reminder that we aren't just people living in the same zip code—we are a family.
I want to do my part to help us heal. If you are overwhelmed, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Whether you need help hauling branches, clearing debris, or just need someone to help look after things while you get organized, our family is here for yours. No job is too small when it comes to getting our community back on its feet.
We are so proud to call this place home. Please stay safe, look out for one another, and know that we are standing right beside you.
