During this investigation we took the time to re construct the scene, look for patterns, examine all ignition sources and piece the chain of events together that caused the fire. We have the area of origin identified but are still waiting for a couple of testing results to eliminate any other potential ignition sources. Once those are in a final cause will be listed.

Today we investigated a house fire in Rimersburg pa. Spent the mid day sifting through debris looking for the cause. Found the area of origin and what we feel is the point of origin. Few phone calls to make and some research before we make final determination.
We dont jump to conclusions, we take the time to look over all the facts.

Few fires we have been working on lately. House fire in the pittsburgh area totally consumed the house and a small apartment fire in the meadville area. Both cases have clients that are disputing the insurance company claims. We are working to resolve these issues and will have more info at a later date.

Received a call from homeowner to look into the cause of the fire that destroyed his house. The owner was not satisfied with the Marshall's ruling of the fire or his insurance companies investigator. We were contacted to prove or disprove their findings.
After spending the day on scene were were able to prove that the cause they gave him did not start the fire. We were able to re create the time line from hours before the fire and exact times after the fire was spotted by interviewing neighbors, witnesses,reviewing photos from them and security camera footage. We even tried to re create the cause they stated started the fire and could not achive ignition like they said.
In a situation like this if you are not satisfied with what your insurance company says don't be afraid to ask for a second opinion. Give us a call.

Few fire we worked on over the past few months..
Electrical fire in wall of house trailer, vehicle fire that was set by someone, they unscrewed a light bulb in security camera before setting the fire in the truck, a fire for a firm out of the country involving a piece of machinery used to make plastic pellets. Caused significant damage to machine-cause was an electrical short in wiring under the machine. And a major loss house fire in erie. Fire started in laundry room.
