Colton area High School Students ages 15-17, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Coltontel is sponsoring one student to participate in the 2025 Foundation for Rural Service Youth Tour. This is an amazing once-in-a-lifetime experience where students will visit our nation's capital and observe what makes the rural telecom industry so unique. With your peers from across the country, you'll visit sites such Arlington National Cemetery, the Lincoln Memorial, and the Smithsonian museums...all while building connections that will last a lifetime.

COLTONTEL maintains a scholarship fund for the benefit of its members and families. The purpose of which is to recognize and provide financial assistance to college or trade/technical school students pursuing an education in any degree program of study.

There are 3 scholarships available: the Eileen Wallace Hayes Memorial Scholarship, the Bev Rice Memorial Scholarship, and the Larry Benthin Scholarship.

Applications are now available. Pick them up at the Business Office or at Colton High School. Applications are due on March 13th, 2026 by 3:30 P.M.

We also want to recognize the CHS Boys Basketball team, who fell to Santiam last night. While the result may not have been the one we all had hoped for, we are proud of your effort and commitment.
