NP Strategy

NP Strategy PR subsidiary of Maynard Nexsen focused on strategic comms, crisis management and media relations.

Whether your goal is to establish new operations, expand current facilities or move to a new area, intelligent analysis and strategy is needed. We start by asking key questions:
•What advantages do we have?
•What stands in our way?
•What could we do? Throughout the process, we communicate with clients early and often while remaining flexible in case we need to set and reset. This analysis helps

us move from what could be done to what should be done. While no outcome can be guaranteed, a proper strategy will you help shape the debate before someone else shapes it for you.

NP Strategy team members Jesica Mackey, Alex Cantey, Paige Daniel, Hope Derrick, Annie Howie, Taylor Kearns, Hannah Wade and Maya Ward assisted Ferrara with event coordination, media relations, stakeholder engagement and a video recap of the event, making a day celebrating a historic investment in Orangeburg County even sweeter.

Supporting the Alabama Campaign for Camp Safety

NP Strategy supported the Alabama Campaign for Camp Safety with statewide media relations efforts, public affairs work, and the planning and ex*****on of a high-impact rally and press conference at the Alabama State House.

The event drew coverage from six broadcast stations and secured additional attention from local and statewide outlets, including an editorial placed in statewide outlet Yellowhammer News, to amplify awareness and legislative support for the Sarah Marsh Heaven’s 27 Camp Safety Bill.

These efforts helped build critical momentum for the campaign, contributing to the bill’s bipartisan passage and demonstrating the power of coordinated advocacy and earned media.

Stakeholder Management: Why Relationships Still Drive PR Success

It’s easy to assume that successful public relations is primarily driven by digital clicks, impressions, and engagement metrics. While those indicators are important, they can’t replace one of the most vital elements of effective communication: relationships.

Now more than ever, organizations have an opportunity to stand out by:

🔹Prioritizing genuine connection and strategic engagement.
🔹Identifying key stakeholders
🔹Building a strategic engagement plan
🔹Executing with intention
🔹Strengthening relationships across PR efforts

Learn more about how strategic stakeholder management can strengthen your next initiative from Coordinator Ellie Logel: https://npstrategy.com/stakeholder-management-why-relationships-still-drive-pr-success/

NP Strategy continues to grow across South Carolina with the addition of Emma Beal and Ellie Logel as coordinators in the firm’s Charleston office.

Emma brings experience in client support, business development, and strategic communications, along with a strong instinct for building relationships and creating messaging that connects with audiences.

Ellie joins the team after working in Washington, D.C., where she supported fundraising and relationship management efforts involving U.S. Senators, PACs, and nonprofit organizations. Her background includes stakeholder engagement, event coordination, and navigating fast-moving, high-pressure environments.

We’re excited to have both Emma and Ellie on the team as we continue growing across the Southeast.
