When you join us on June 22 for the annual Golf Classic, you won't just be supporting the restaurant advocacy fund, you'll also be playing on a Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course.

From the New Albany Country Club site:

"Our award-winning course first debuted in 1993 when Jack Nicklaus himself played a dedication round on the East Nine, followed by inaugural Members of New Albany County Club. Since then, the course has evolved into a dynamic experience for all levels of play. Some areas have the lush feel of the Carolinas, while others suggest the ruggedness of Scottish links. Strategically placed bunkers and water hazards will keep even the most seasoned golfer on their toes. Rocky Fork Creek was incorporated into the course design allowing it to blend with New Albany's natural surroundings. A 19th century home on the National Registry of Historic Places can be seen from the West Course."

2026 Statehouse Day Recap ⚖️

We kicked off the day with the Q2 Board of Directors and All Member meetings where we welcomed Michael P. LaMarca of Master Pizza as the new Chair of the ORHA Board, thanked Adrian Adornetto of Adornetto's for his service as the Chair the past two years and celebrated Gary Callicoat of Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern as he completed his tenure on our Executive Committee.

We elected the new Executive Committee of the Board, which is now:
Chair - Michael LaMarca, Owner of Master Pizza
Vice Chair - Laurie L. Torres, Owner of Mallorca Cleveland
Treasurer - Mike Haunert, Principal of HBS, LLC
Secretary - Kerry Boyle, VP of Cameron Mitchell Restaurants & Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern
Past Chair - Adrian Adornetto, Owner of The Adornetto Group

In the afternoon, we heard from Senate President Rob McColley and Rep. Bride Rose Sweeney to prepare for our legislative meetings as owners and operators from across the state met with over 50 elected leaders to advocate for Ohio's restaurant & hospitality industry.

To finish the awesome day, we hosted a legislature meet & greet happy hour at Jackie O's on Fourth.
