SOAR SOAR uses story process for extraordinary outcomes helping organisations, systems and communities ac CHANGE YOUR STORY, CHANGE THE WORLD.

Stories are the subtle force that influences the way we see the world and colours our choices and our actions. They shape and focus our lives at work and at home and impact why and how we take action. The are the foundation for our individual and collective future. People are made of stories and therefore every organisation, group or community is also made of stories. Knowing how to work with them

is a key leadership capacity. The art and practice of being a Story Activist is a powerful leadership tool. The stories leaders hold and share – the stories they activate – create the foundation for the present and future of the groups they are part of. It’s not only about telling a better story, but leading a better story. Stories are key in creating positive systemic shift and the ability to thrive in complexity. We give you tools, methods and practices that help you to SOAR!

Can participatory practice and AI come together in a way that
strengthens our human connections and ability to collaborate?

I have been one of those AI newbies for a long time – definitely not an early adapter! I think I’m somebody who really, really, really need someone to hold my hand as we delve into this new technology.

What I most value about hosting and facilitating in groups is there a human connection and interaction we can create – the container for good work, wiser, work, to happen.

That’s why I’m very happy to be part of this offering for the facilitator/hosting community to be in an inquiry about AI and Facilitation. HOSTING AT THE EDGE OF OUR HUMANITY: AI & Facilitation. See more here: https://beehive-productions.mykajabi.com/hosting-at-the...

We’ve collected some amazing interviews. We are having some interesting conversations with people in the know all around us. And now we want to involve YOU in a collective inquiry.

More than a workshop. Bigger than a conversation. Let's learn together! Please join us!

November 12th & 19th and December 3rd & 10th
10am - 12pm Pacific / 12 - 2pm Eastern / 10:00 - 21:00 CET

Happy to be in this work with Rowan Francis Simonsen and Amy Lenzo -- together we three are Beehive Productions.

I spent Sunday looking for trolls. It’s so happens if you live here in Ohio if you’re in the right place and keen on a Forest walk, you can find them too.

what I love most was hearing a family with small children, asking their parents about the trolls and being able to tell the story of this particular exhibition. It’s not only a beautiful little story, but also a testament to what magical things can be made out of found materials.

The story is called “the troll that hatched an egg.” https://aullwood.audubon.org

Want to thrive at the intersection of chaos and breakdown?

There are so many things changing right at the moment, that it can feel we are continually standing on the edge of the unknown. In many places the mood is fearful, conflictual or depressed. Systems, businesses and people are struggling.

We've been keeping an eye on some of our close colleagues who are pioneering how to work at the edges and at the intersection of CHAOS and CHAMOS. We want to hear and harvest their stories to give us both courage and new perspectives about how to host in these challenging times.

Sharing and harvesting stories of working with challenge and pioneering at the edges is a great practice for times like these

We will be using the Collective Story Harvest method -- which I helped to create -- to work with these stories and to give you a powerful methodology for engaging and involving the people and systems you work with so they can survive and thrive.

It’s time to do things differently. Come and learn from practitioners working at the edge and see how our stories and applied story work can provide a place where we can take shelter from the storm and find understanding and strength with each other. This is how to find the future in the present.

Join me and Amy Lenzo at BEYOND FACILITATION, a four session online series starting October 27 -- remember, we have a special discount for groups of 3 or more.

For more than a year I've been listening to people's questions and stories and noticing a red thread through all of them -- the question: "Who am I now in the face of this?"

"This" might be anything. I had one conversation with two others where "this" was something major. And devastating.g

One person had been pushed out of her role all of a sudden. She didn't see it coming. The other had received a devastating medical diagnosis.

they were both faced with a total change of identity. And out of the blue. So, "who am I now?" was staring them both in the face.

And from this question, another: "What is now mine to do?"

Sometimes it's not as dramatic as that. Others tell of a nagging sense deep in their gut that things are changing and they need to change too, but how?

I personally have sat with these questions very deeply for the past 4 years or so. COVID was a time when I considered whether I needed to stop doing EVERYTHING I'd done before. Was it time to put it all down and choose a new path?

It feels like the time of sea change. Do you feel it too?

Come and join us for the "Who am I Now?" Conversations on March 16 & March 23, 10:30 - 12:00 Pacific / 1:30 - 3:00 pm Eastern / 18:30 - 20:00 CET. Let's be in exploration together.

Feel like you need a place to stop and figure out who you are now?

So many of us are facing challenges in life that seem never-ending. The pace of change feels overwhelming. It leaves us asking deep inside: "Who am I now in the face of this?" while trying to keep up on the outside.

We feel it too. That's why we're offering a open series of conversations you can join with others who are also asking "Who am I now? What is mine to do?" Together we'll look for the wisdom that comes when you have a conversation that really matters.

Have you felt it too?

Things are not the same. Maybe a big change has struck your life. Or maybe there's just a deep sense that something is shifting inside you.

You are asking yourself who you are now and who you want to be because of this. "This" might be the end of a relationship, the death of something you loved, despair at all the polarity and separation out there, a major challenge at work you didn't see coming, a medical diagnosis, war, the simple fact of growing older.

THE "WHO AM I NOW?" CONVERSATIONS are designed to create a welcoming online space to meet others who are asking the same questions. We'll use storytelling, deep listening, art, music, the power of questions and more to offer ourselves the time and place to listen deeply to our own inner voices and the wisdom of others.

Our online conversations take place on March 16 & March 23 at 10:30 - 12:00 pm Pacific / 1:30 - 3:00 pm Eastern / 18:30 - 20:00 CET. There is no charge to participate.
