Talk about the ultimate way to kick off spooky season! 🎃🌲🎬

On Friday, I had the absolute thrill (and only a few chills) of moderating the screening and live Q&A of The Blair Witch Project at the McCoy Center for the Arts.

Sharing the stage with the iconic trio, Heather Donahue, Joshua Leonard, and Michael C. Williams, was pure magic. We traded the woods and shaky cameras for comfortable chairs and incredible conversation, diving into behind the scenes stories and how this horror classic changed indie cinema forever.

Heather, Joshua, and Michael were so warm, witty, and generous, and the audience brought phenomenal energy!

Huge thanks to the McCoy Center team for a fantastic night. October is officially off to a delightfully eerie start! 👻📼

Lately, I’ve been reflecting on my own legacy building years. Being a mentor and a community auntie means so much more to me than any corporate title or 40-hour work week. That is the real pinnacle of success.
