Mystery Solved!

Last week's Where Am I Wednesday photo was taken at Community Nest Resale Store!

More than just a thrift store, The Community Nest is a volunteer-run organization that turns donated items into support for local community programs and needs. Every purchase helps make a difference right here in our community.

While you're shopping, be sure to check out their beautiful wings mural. The Community Nest is encouraging shoppers to snap a photo in front of the wings while wearing something they purchased at the store and enter their contest. It's a fun way to show off your thrifted treasures and support a great cause.

Congratulations to everyone who guessed correctly. Your name has been entered into this month's drawing for two great prizes: a $50 gift card to Beaver Ranch Disc Golf and a $50 gift card to Denver Adventures Zipline.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Highway 285 Cleanups in May and June!

Because of these amazing volunteers, our stretch of Highway 285 is cleaner, safer, and more beautiful for everyone who lives, works, and travels through our community. Your willingness to spend a few hours picking up litter makes a real difference and shows just how much pride we have in the place we call home.

Attendees enjoyed great conversations, new connections, delicious refreshments, and the opportunity to learn more about the incredible work Resilience1220 is doing to support teens in our mountain communities.

This year alone, Resilience1220 is serving more than 400 teens, with individual therapy services increasing by an astounding 46% over last year. The need for youth mental health support continues to grow, and they are working hard to meet that need.

Right now, they are in the middle of their June Giving Days fundraiser, which helps ensure local teens have access to the counseling, support, and resources they need to thrive. Please consider making a donation https://www.resilience1220.org/

Are you proud of our beautiful mountain community? Then come help us keep it that way!

Join us this Saturday at 8:00 AM at the Aspen Park Park-n-Ride for our second Highway 285 cleanup of the year. It's a great way to give back, get some fresh air, enjoy a little exercise, and spend time with fellow community members who care about keeping our roadsides clean.

And yes, it's weirdly rewarding. Last month I even found $5 cash while picking up trash!

Whether you're a longtime volunteer or joining us for the first time, we'd love to have your help. See you Saturday at 8:00 AM at the Aspen Park Park-n-Ride!

What a fantastic morning of speed networking with our friends from the Evergreen Chamber of Commerce, West Metro Chamber, Applewood Business Association, and our hosts at the Golden Chamber of Commerce!

The room was full of energy as business professionals connected, shared ideas, exchanged countless business cards, and built valuable new relationships.

Bounties Brew Haus is creating a whimsical space where people can gather, connect, and celebrate what makes each of us unique while bringing our community together. Whether you're looking for a great cup of coffee, a glass of beer or wine, a new book to dive into, a game to enjoy with friends, or fuel for your next mountain adventure, Bounties has something for everyone.

Want to check it out for yourself? Join them for their soft opening at their new location on Saturday, June 20 from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Sunday, June 21 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Last Thursday’s Membership Meeting looked a little different as we transformed the morning into a Business Showcase! Members had the opportunity to visit one another’s tables, make new connections, and learn more about the products, services, and organizations that make our community thrive.

A special thank you to MRC for serving as our Spotlight Sponsor. They shared information about their upcoming Gala on October 1 and highlighted the many ways they support individuals and families throughout our community. Their impact reaches far beyond a single event, and we appreciate all they do to make a difference in the foothills.

Thank you to everyone who participated, asked questions, shared ideas, and strengthened relationships with fellow Chamber members. Building connections is one of the best ways to grow your business while supporting our local community, and this showcase was a great reminder of the value of getting to know the people behind the businesses and organizations we work with every day.
