Suhru Wines Suhru Wines is a second generation family owned and operated winery and tasting room started in 2008. Suhru Wines is a family owned and operated brand.

Suhru released our first vintage in 2008. All the wine is produced on the Eastern End of Long Island. Started by husband and wife SUsan and RUssell Hearn the brand name and product has come to life.

The Fall is a magical time in Long Island Wine Country and October is when it all comes to a peak as we transition from our sparkling and white wine grapes being harvested primarily in September and begin looking ahead to the red wine harvest in October. Winemaker Russell Hearn and Director of Viticulture John Fondacaro took some time to give us an update on what is happening in the Vineyard and in the Winery at the moment and in the weeks ahead!
