What a blast we had this week kicking off the riding season with a multi-day April break camp! Mother Nature didn’t disappoint either- providing us with all seasons in a single day (each day) we got hot warm sun, cool sprinkling rain, pea sized hail, a few snow flakes and a cold brisk wind. lol to say we enjoyed the indoor this week would be an understatement. 😂.
To kick off the riding season we had a super cool group of youth riders in this camp, their enthusiasm and excitement was infectious and we just absolutely love their vibe. This camp was open to all ages and abilities which gave us the opportunity to cover lots of topics. We had some campers that had never touched a horse and we had some that had been around horses most of their lives- so that really opened up the opportunity for growth and learning. Because we had such a great group it allowed us to work on lots of topics and each student got multiple riding lessons each per day to help progress their learning- some topics covered were ground work, lunging, proper grooming & tacking, general showing, both English & western dressage tests, jumping, general rider position, barn management and general horse management - amongst other things. Campers went home every day both excited and exhausted and looking forward to their next day!
A great big thank you to our camp counselors! Y’all are absolutely amazing and we send giant thanks your way!! We will be putting our 2026 camp dates on both our website and posting them here soon!!
Here are a few pictures from the week!
