FLUSHABLE WIPES… that is misleading advertising… They do flush, they Do NOT breakdown in your septic system or city sewer… This was a back up into a home bc Flushable Wipes has completely clogged the Septic Tank, IF you use wipes, expect to pump much more often bc they do NOT breakdown like TP. In the fine print on the packaging it even states Flushable WITH ANNUAL pump out… So instead of 3-5 years, annual… Wipes are HORRIBLE for Septic Systems…

Homeowner stated Every time it rains I get flooding in my garage. Driveway sloped right into the garage. N2 Diggin, we came in, saw cut the pavement, dug it out and installed a Trench Drain System where the driveway meets the house/garage using concrete full thickness transitioning from driveway, to drain and to garage door. We then trenched in Double Wall (corrugated outside/smooth inside) FlowMax pipe over to the ditch line to get that water away from the house and garage.

Homeowner Rented a Backhoe…😳 Great intentions of cleanup around the house, remove some trees ect…. Unfortunately he didn’t know where his Septic System was located… WELL he found it, busted into it… We were called to “Pump Out a Septic TANK” and the home owner had ordered a new plastic tank to replace it himself… Upon arrival we determined this was a Leachfield not a Septic Tank…. Home owner then realized, might should allow us to fix his system before he spend more money or breaks more of the system…

We located the actual Septic Tank, it was super thick… You can see the Bio Mat building up on the Leachfield bed in the repair… Replaced two broken chambers, added Risers to the tank, Effluent Filter, added to Maintenance plan so we can help him keep it taken care of…

New Home Purchase, “Get the Water away from the house…” The home very nice, but some areas the soil kept the water from flowing away from the home… We installed 12x12 inch Catch Basins at ground level, directly below the gutter downspouts… using a Max Flow corrugated pipe (which means it’s smooth inside/NO corrugating on the inside to allow water or catch debris) we piped the water out away from the home to where it will naturally flow away… Some photos of insulation and returned the w**d fabric and mulch in the flower beds…

“I didn’t know what to do or how to take care of a septic System…” (Home owner statement)
Another system failure due to Failure to Maintain… New in 2002, pump replaced in 2011, tank was over 3 feet deep and had not been pumped out… The pump tank had 12 inches of thick sludge, which probably contributed to the pump failure, the Septic Tank was practically solid…. The sewer line under the house started gurgling and then packed solid and backed up into the house…. This was a two day, dig out, install risers, pump out both tanks, replace pump, replace float, replace alarm (It burnt up as well), then 65 feet of plugged sewer line from tank going back to the house….

While talking with the home owners, They didn’t know what to do or how to take care of Septic System. Don’t allow tank build up to cause a backup in your home… FOG (Fats, Oils, Greases) along with toilet paper floats to the top of your septic tank and builds up over time. Neglect or Failure to Maintain your system will cost you greatly when it causes your system to fail… It’s not a question of IF it will Fail, but How long can your system hang on…
Preventive Maintenance WILL extend the life of your Septic System… Regular Pump Out of your Septic Tank removes all this build up and helps your system to function as designed… on average 3-5 years between pumping, but that depends on your home, number of people in the home, and your usage and habits…

Dishwasher Pods and Granulated Washing Powders… I was asked twice this week by customers about these products…. The truth is, from what I’ve seen, and learned is the Granulated Powders do NOT fully dissolve, then they get washed out into your drains where they collect and harden like concrete in your pipes. Eventually they will completely plug your drain… I assisted my brother-in law years ago Re-Plumb his kitchen over this exact washing powder blocking his drain. Drain cleaners did not work. Snake couldn’t get through…
Solution… Switch to Liquid Soap Detergent instead… The Liquid Soap Dissolves in the appliance much better and doesn’t plug your drain…
Your Septic needs to be pumped Regularly, don’t allow the solids to build up flushing BioMat out into the Leachfield… This is a VERY Common mistake that will cause failure of your system and cost you thousands to fix… If you don’t have anyone helping YOU with your Septic System, give us a call, we will be happy to help…
