From accurate pre-auction estimates to a simple commission structure with no additional fees for insurance, photography, and advertising, we make your experience with us as transparent as possible. An appraiser or team of appraisers may want to travel to your location to inspect your collection in person. Call (610) 269-4040 to learn more. uses a large array of tools in order to expose your items to the largest possible audience. This includes color catalogs, print and online advertising, as well as direct mailings, email blasts, our website, and Bidsquare.com, a high-end vetted online bidding platform. Bidders are also offered several avenues of bidding, which include online, absentee, phone, and live in-house bidding. We accept a large variety of items including American Indian and ethnographic pieces, Asian art and objects, books and manuscripts, carpets, coins and paper currency, American and European furniture and decorative accessories, fine art and sculpture, folk art, glass, jewelry, 20th century modern design, porcelain, pottery, real estate, silver and vertu, textiles, toys, weapons, and estate wine and spirits. Yesterday we hosted a luncheon where Lisa Minardi of Historic Trappe lectured on the topic of folk art painted boxes of southeastern Pennsylvania. Over fifty people attended the talk, which featured several actual examples for guests to examine up close. Included with these examples was this Berks County Pennsylvania painted pine dome lid Bucher box, which just sold for $24,000 (hammer, bp not included), more than triple the high estimate.
