Yesterday’s Global Summit 2026, hosted by the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS®, brought together business leaders, economic development experts and real estate professionals for a conversation about the global trends, international investment and economic development opportunities shaping North Carolina.

DRAR President Sondra Trice-Jones and incoming CEO Stephania Bloodworth were there representing us and connecting with leaders from across the region.

“We have to think globally, understand regional growth, and act locally,” Stephania shared. “For DRAR, this reinforces the importance of building relationships beyond our association and positioning REALTORS® as trusted leaders in economic and community development.”

Sondra also reflected on the opportunity to attend together as we prepare for our upcoming leadership transition:

“Grateful to attend yesterday's Summit with Stephania Bloodworth as we continue preparing for a thoughtful and successful leadership transition at DRAR. Exciting work ahead!! We were included in a timely conversation on Global real estate and North Carolina's future.”

Thank you to RRAR for bringing together so many voices for an important conversation about the forces shaping our region and our industry.

There’s a good reason not to wait until the CE deadline is looming to take your Update course.

Changes to North Carolina real estate laws and Commission rules are taking effect this year, along with other important issues that could impact your business. Taking your Update course early means you’ll know what’s new before you encounter it in a transaction.

This year’s “Boarding Now: Arriving at Your Education Destination” course uses a travel theme, enhanced videos, and helpful resources to keep the material engaging. And when you take it in person at DRAR, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and talk through the latest updates with your instructor and fellow REALTORS®.

Get your CE checked off early and make sure you have the information you need for the year ahead.
