Cluster Flies and Asian Lady Beetles.

I have had quite a few calls lately about cluster flies and Lady beetles. 1st of all Cluster Flies and or Asian Lady bugs Do Not Lay their eggs in your homes.
With the spring warm temps, the lady bugs and flies that have been over wintering in you attic and walls are waking up and wanting to go outside to continue their life cycle. But many of them do not make it back out and die inside. There is nothing that can be done at this point. Clean up the dead bodies and remember prevention is key. Non-Chemical treatments would be, sealing and caulking cracks around doors and windows. Screening attic entry points.
At Border Pest Control we spay for these pests in late August to early September to try to keep them from coming in. We can’t keep every fly or beetle from coming in your home, but we can cut down your problem considerably.
