There is something I absolutely love about this phase of a project… a completely blank space.

No shelves yet.
No rods.
No systems.

Just the opportunity to design a closet that will actually work for my client’s life.

This is why bringing in a professional organizer during the renovation phase is so important. When we’re involved before the closet is built, we can help design a system that supports how you actually live — not just something that looks good on Pinterest.

At this stage we’re thinking about things like:

• How much hanging space vs. shelving you really need
• Where seasonal items should live
• Shoe storage, accessories, bags, and daily-use pieces
• Clear zones so everything has a home
• Creating a layout that keeps the space easy to maintain

When closets are designed without considering the actual belongings and routines of the homeowner, they often end up beautiful… but frustrating to use.

By collaborating early with designers, contractors, and homeowners, we can build spaces that are not only beautiful but functional for years to come.

Inventory + product planning day ✔️

Before we ever step foot into your pantry for install day… this is what it looks like behind the scenes.

Boxes everywhere. Lazy Susans unwrapped. Drawer dividers counted. Bins stacked. Spreadsheet open. Measuring, double-checking, and making sure every single product has a purpose.

Tomorrow we transform a kitchen/pantry — but today is about strategy.
Because a beautiful pantry isn’t just containers… it’s a plan.

The right sizes.
The right quantities.
The right flow for how YOUR family actually lives.

This is the not-so-glamorous part of organizing — but it’s why install day feels seamless. 🙌🏼

Behind the scenes today organizing a full sample room and let me tell you… interior designers are not playing around. The details matter — and we love creating systems that make those details easy to find.
