Keeping Our Team Connected & Informed! 💬 At MTS, we believe an informed and engaged team is a stronger !

Each month, members of our VP-level leadership team meet with employees in small-group rounding sessions across the company. These conversations provide an opportunity to share updates on business operations, production schedules, efficiencies, financial performance, and company goals - while encouraging questions, feedback, and open dialogue.

It takes every member of our team to make MTS successful, and we're proud of the engagement and interest our employees show in the bigger picture of our business. That's what makes our team shine!

Today, we added a little something extra to the conversation! Employees participating through questions and feedback had the opportunity to receive an MTS-branded stocking hat, complete with a gift card to our local Wilke's Marketplace grocery store, a small way to recognize employee engagement while supporting another local business!

Great businesses are built by great teams, and we're proud of ours! 💪

We welcomed local students to our facility for a behind-the-scenes look at what we do. From touring our manufacturing operations to connecting with our team of experts, students got a firsthand glimpse of how a sheet of steel transforms into world-class equipment.

Thank you to all the students and educators who joined us! We hope to inspire the next generation of manufacturers and show them the opportunities that await in our industry.

Today at MTS, we are excited to be back into the swing of our monthly Job Shadow sessions for the 2026-2027 school year with our local school districts! As an advanced manufacturing employer located in rural Iowa, we face unique challenges in attracting and retaining skilled talent. One of the most impactful and cost-effective ways we can address this is by investing early in our local talent pipeline—starting with high school students.

Job shadowing opportunities introduce students to real-world applications of skilled trades and help them envision a rewarding future without leaving their local communities. In rural areas like ours, students often lack exposure to modern manufacturing environments, limiting their understanding of career opportunities that are not only viable but thriving close to home.

Today we hosted students from Central and MFL MarMac Community School Districts; students chose the areas of Product Support and Engineering. Not only were the students able to gain insight into the daily work in each department, but they were also able to hear the stories of how our employees have been able to develop successful careers with MTS. Thank you to each of the educational partners, students and MTS employees that take part in this valuable experience. We are happy to have each of you!
