Concord Township Professional Firefighters Local 5105 and the Concord Township Trustee and Advisory Board signed their first collective bargaining agreement on Monday.

This agreement marks an important milestone in the relationship between the Township and Local 5105. Both sides are committed to working together to support fire fighters, serve the community, and provide professional fire and emergency services.

Congratulations to Local 5105 President Miguel Nunez, the Executive Board, Fire Chief Phil Sumpter, and the Concord Township Trustee and Advisory Board on this achievement.

Union Contract Signing Announcement

Concord Professional Firefighters Local 5105 and Concord Township

On October 26, 2026, Concord Professional Firefighters Local 5105 and the Concord Township Trustee and Advisory Board officially signed a first union contract.

This agreement represents an important step in the continued working relationship between the Township and its professional firefighters. Both parties remain committed to working together in support of our firefighters, our community, and the continued delivery of professional fire and emergency services.

We appreciate the time, cooperation, and dedication of everyone involved in reaching this agreement and look forward to continuing to serve the residents of Concord Township.

Congratulations to Concord Professional Firefighters Local 5105 and the Concord Township Trustee and Advisory Board on this milestone.

PSA.... Michael Meyers was seen last night in Oxbow Park. Do not approach him !! He is very dangerous. ECSD was working a murder seen in the park . It you attend the Elkhart County Oxbow Park Hay Wagon Ride tonight October 22 from 7:00 to 10 pm be on the look out. There is safety in numbers. Do not approach him. He may offer you candy!!! Take it at your own risk.
