Colorado's workforce remains one of its greatest competitive advantages.

Released this week, our new executive summary from Yes. And… Colorado, a research series from Denver South, explores the strength of the Front Range's talent pool, from educational attainment and workforce growth to the institutions preparing the next generation of workers.

As the data shows, 60% of Front Range residents ages 25 and older have an associate's degree or higher, compared to 44.5% nationally. Just one example of how the region continues to offer businesses access to a highly educated workforce, even as population growth slows.

Heads up, Denver South commuters! Overnight closures are scheduled on I-25 near Lincoln Avenue in Lone Tree on Monday, 10/26 and Thursday, 10/29 as crews install a new pedestrian bridge for the I-25 Lone Tree Mobility Hub Project.

- Southbound I-25: Oct. 26, 11 p.m. – 6 a.m.
- Northbound I-25: Oct. 29, 10 p.m. – 5 a.m.

The new bridge will improve pedestrian and bicycle connections to transit services in the area.

Improvements are underway along the South I-25 corridor! 🚧
The 2026–2027 project will enhance four major interchanges at Orchard, Arapahoe, Dry Creek and County Line roads.

The improvements focus on safer maintenance access, more efficient irrigation, water-wise landscaping and enhanced aesthetics.

Work is beginning at Dry Creek Road, with improvements at the remaining interchanges to follow.

🛴 Transportation doesn’t stop at a jurisdictional line — and now, neither does Denver South’s new scooter corridor.

Denver South and Spin have launched Colorado’s first connected regional scooter corridor, linking Centennial, Greenwood Village, Meridian, Inverness and portions of unincorporated Arapahoe and Douglas counties.

The expanded service connects residents, employees and visitors to light rail, jobs and destinations across the South I-25 corridor — with a $1 unlock fee and the program covering the remaining service charges.
