The best facilities don’t become great by accident. They’re managed by people who take pride in every aspect of the property.

Hurricane Isaias is approaching, with Florida, Alabama & Mississippi currently expected to see the greatest impacts, while heavy rain, strong winds & flooding could affect several additional states as the storm moves inland.

For our partners with properties in its path, now is the time to prepare.

There is still time for last-minute preparations, from boarding windows and securing loose items to sandbags, generators & other preventative measures.

And if any of your properties are impacted, we’re here for what comes next. From water damage and debris cleanup to emergency repairs, our teams are ready to respond as soon as it’s safe.

Summer is behind us, and the shift is impossible to miss by the time the workday ends. The sun is setting earlier, the evenings are cooling off, and darkness is creeping in well before most people clock out.

Employees, customers, vendors and deliveries are increasingly coming and going in the dark, making exterior lighting a lot more noticeable this time of year.

At industrial & distribution sites, well-lit loading areas, roadways and work zones are critical when trucks, equipment and people are all moving after dark.

At retail locations, lighting around parking lots, sidewalks and entrances helps customers and employees feel safer and keeps the property welcoming long after sunset.

As the days get shorter, the right lighting becomes harder to overlook.

As promised, here’s our very own President, Mike Massaro, in the dunk tank, where he found himself at the bottom more times than two hands can count.

With employees stationed across the country and two main offices, our annual Summit gives us something we don’t always get enough of: the chance to bring everyone together in one place.

Throughout the two days, our teams broke into groups for hands-on training, collaboration and a little friendly competition, all focused on preparing for the winter season and continuing to provide the best possible experience for our clients.

Our Summit has always been about more than training. It’s also about our people. Once the work is done, we make time to have some fun, and get to know the people we work alongside every day a little better.

It’s a tradition we’re proud to continue because the stronger we are as a team internally, the better partner we can be for our clients.

That’s a wrap on our 2026 Caliber Summit!

We packed a lot into two days, with plenty of training to get our teams ready for the snow season, followed by two fun-filled nights together.

It’s always one of our favorite internal events of the year, and this one definitely didn’t disappoint.

Data centers are becoming a bigger part of our everyday world. And as their footprint grows, there’s an opportunity to be more thoughtful about the environment around them.

Native plants can help reduce water use. Smart irrigation can cut down on waste. Better stormwater management can help control runoff. Even something as simple as strategically placed trees can help reduce heat around a property.

Data centers are necessary to support our increasingly digital world. Our job is to help make sure the properties supporting that growth are managed responsibly, efficiently & with the surrounding community in mind.

We’re excited to announce Michael Brenner as our new Vice President of Operations!

Michael brings more than 19 years of experience in the commercial property services industry. Throughout his career, he’s led operations across nationwide portfolios, developed teams & built lasting relationships with both customers and partners.

What really stands out about Michael is his focus on people. He believes great operations start with strong teams, clear communication & always finding new ways to improve. We’re proud to have his experience and leadership here at Caliber Service Management.

Outside of work, you can usually find Michael at a concert or spending a long day at the beach from sunrise to sunset. Most importantly, he enjoys spending time with family & friends.
