Week 2 of National Safety Month (June) promotes staying safe on the roads. With the emphasis on avoiding distracted or impaired driving, part of a good safety plan includes having a hand portable fire extinguisher available.

While required for commercial vehicles, it makes good sense for private vehicles as well. For weekend viewing pleasure, attached please find a short video on the history of fire extinguishers.

Dolan’s Fire Protection is grateful to have participated in and sponsored the Millburn Fire Department's golf outing held yesterday (6/4) at Galloping Hills Golf Course in Kenilworth, NJ. The outing contributes to a great cause by raising money to help support children with burn injuries & sending them to the Arthur C. Luf Foundation burn camp. We are always happy to have the opportunity to support our friends in the fire safety world and the causes they represent.

The day was a win/win for Dolan’s Fire as the team of Pat Dolan, Ryan Hill, Christian Bowman, & Kevin Kelly took home the 1st place trophies with an impressive score of (-12) while also providing support to those who need it most. We would like to say a huge thank you to the Millburn Fire Department for hosting an awesome event & to all the sponsors who help contribute to such an important cause in our industry.

The NJ Association of Fire Equipment Distributors (NJAFED) annual meeting/co****le tournament was held yesterday (6/4). The townhall style meeting was full of informative industry topics while the co****le tourney was a great opportunity for the members to network.

The competition was fierce in the tournament with a field loaded with numerous NJAFED members throwing a good bag. Given the tough competition we are thrilled to report that DFPS employees Max Massaro and Jake Bilheimer took 1st place.

It was an exciting finale with our team coming out of the loser's bracket to beat the favored Encore Fire Protection team 2 games in a row for the win. Congratulations to Jake and Max! The NJAFED cup will stay at Dolan's Fire for another year!

Dolan’s Fire Protection was honored to participate in the 6th annual Ryan “OD” O’Donoghue golf outing held this past Monday (6/1) at Gambler Ridge Golf Course.

The outing was a huge success with over 200 golfers hitting the links to support the Ryan “OD” O’Donoghue Memorial Fund (https://www.ryanododonoghuememorialfund.com/about).
