OneZone Chamber OneZone Chamber The boards of directors and members of the Carmel and Fishers Chambers of Commerce voted in February, 2015 to merge.

The new organization, formed to more efficiently and better promote the business interests of our members, is called OneZone. Then in 2023 OneZone merged with the Northern Hamilton County Chamber and the towns of Atlanta, Arcadia, Cicero, and Sheridan. The name OneZone describes the unity we see for the future: multiple communities, but one place to do business. With 1,300 members, OneZone is a stronger voice, a significant presence and a business advocate in an ever-changing workplace. With OneZone, businesses get an organization that offers the advantages of two organizations for the cost of one membership. As one organization, we offer more marketing opportunities, more exposure, more networking connections, more educational programs and more impact on business legislation locally, regionally and statewide.

Helping More People Reconnect to the Workforce

Through our partnership with Invest Hamilton County, we’re helping connect residents who face barriers to employment with resources that can support their return to the workforce.

Rise & Reskill is a referral-based workforce readiness program for individuals impacted by substance use disorder recovery or involvement with the justice system.

Participants build practical skills in career exploration, resumes, interviewing and preparing to re-enter the workforce with greater confidence.

The program is offered in partnership with Ivy Tech Hamilton County and local referral partners.

For employers, this is one example of how our partnership with Invest Hamilton County is helping strengthen Hamilton County’s workforce by creating pathways for more people to successfully connect—or reconnect—with employment.

With early voting underway and Election Day set for Tuesday, November 3, the OneZone Business Action Committee (ZoneBAC) is highlighting the candidates it has endorsed for the 2026 General Election.

ZoneBAC has announced its endorsement of Hunter Smith for State Representative, District 24.

“Hunter Smith brings a strong, forward-looking perspective and a clear commitment to serving Indiana’s communities,” said Jack Russell, President of OneZone Chamber. “His focus on leadership, community engagement, and building a strong environment for businesses and families positions him well to represent District 24.”

Hunter Smith is a community leader and entrepreneur whose professional and community involvement has focused on leadership, collaboration, and service. His work supporting local initiatives and economic development reflects an interest in strengthening Indiana's communities and improving quality of life for residents and businesses.

In considering this race, ZoneBAC recognized Smith's leadership, experience, and understanding of issues impacting the business community. His focus on economic growth, community engagement, and long-term success were among the factors considered in the committee's endorsement decision.
