Culture of Good

Culture of Good When your employees and your customers rally to a common cause, good things, even great things, result.

Welcome to Culture of Good, where we empower businesses and individuals to make a difference in their communities through meaningful actions and impactful initiatives. Today’s workers seek out workplaces that embrace a bigger cause. That means that if you want to attract, or even keep, your best employees, you might need to rethink the connections between doing work and doing good and how they can be directly related.

Leaders aren’t born. They’re developed. So, what skills help leaders lead themselves, their teams, and the business well?...

Leaders aren’t born. They’re developed.

So, what skills help leaders lead themselves, their teams, and the business well?

At Culture of Good, we believe promoting someone because they’re great at their work, without preparing them to lead people, can set them up for failure.

Leadership requires a different set of skills.

These are the 12 skills we help companies develop so leaders are equipped and enabled to lead people well, not just be good at what they do.

Because when leaders grow, that growth should show up in three places:
In themselves.
In their teams.
In the business.

Which of these 12 skills do you think leaders need most today?

When leaders grow, culture grows with them.

When leaders listen, culture listens.
When leaders care, culture cares.
When leaders disengage, culture disengages.
When leaders stop growing, culture stops growing.

Leadership behaviors have a way of becoming culture.

A huge thank you to Karli Jean for sharing her experience with our Culture of Good Leadership Development program!

Leadership development should be more than learning concepts. It should create space for reflection, meaningful conversations, accountability, and real-world application.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to work alongside the leaders at Stash Ventures and help equip them with practical tools they can use every day.

And a special thank you to Ryan McCarty for facilitating the experience and helping bring the learning to life.

When leaders grow, culture grows with them.

What if your company doesn’t need to do more good?

What if you just need to do good better?

Many organizations are already giving back, volunteering, supporting nonprofits, and investing in their communities. But without an intentional framework, those efforts can become disconnected activities instead of something that strengthens your culture, develops leaders, engages employees, and creates sustainable community impact.

The opportunity is to connect the dots.

In his latest article, Ryan McCarty shares what he’s learned from working with companies that genuinely care about making a difference and why a framework can help turn good intentions into lasting impact.

I’ve spent a lot of time working with companies that genuinely care about doing good. They give back to their communities.
