🇺🇸 VETERAN SPOTLIGHT: MR. WILLIAM SPENCER 🇺🇸

This week, Visiting Angels is honored to shine our Veteran Spotlight on a very special gentleman, Mr. William Spencer.

Mr. William proudly served our country for four years in the United States Marine Corps. Once a Marine, always a Marine and we are incredibly grateful for his service and sacrifice. ❤️🤍💙

But Mr. William's greatest pride may just be his family. This year, he and his beautiful wife will celebrate 35 years of marriage! Together, their family includes four daughters, along with grandchildren and great-grandchildren who have added even more love and joy through the years.

One look at that smile tells you a little something about Mr. William. 😊 He is a kind, warm gentleman, and we feel truly blessed to have the opportunity to know him and to serve him.

At Visiting Angels, caring for our Veterans is about so much more than providing care. It's about honoring the men and women who once stepped forward to serve us and making sure they know how deeply their service is appreciated.

🇺🇸 Mr. William Spencer, thank you for your years of service to our country. It is now our privilege to serve YOU.

💙 **Happy National Senior Citizens Day!** 💙

Today, we celebrate the incredible seniors who have spent a lifetime **building families, serving communities, sharing wisdom, and creating the stories that shaped us.**

At Visiting Angels, we have the privilege of seeing every day just how much our seniors still have to teach us. Their stories matter. Their independence matters. Their dignity matters. And most of all **they matter.** ❤️

Take a few extra minutes today to call, visit, hug, or simply sit and listen to a senior you love. Ask them a question. Hear one more story. Make one more memory.

Because growing older is a blessing and those who have walked ahead of us deserve to be celebrated. 🌷

💙❤VETERAN SPOTLIGHT: Help us honor Tommy Myers! ❤💙

Today we honor Mr Tommy Myers of Brandon!

Mr Tommy served our country in the Navy and then went on to serve in the Air Force as well.

When he returned home, Mr Tommy did not stop his service to the American people. He was a police officer and served in Greenville and Flowood, MS.

Looking at his life, Mr Tommy has lived quite an adventure every day! From his time in the military to serving on the front lines in protecting our citizens here at home, we are honored to call him one of our veterans!

Mr Tommy now resides in reservoir Brandon with his sweet wife, Judy, and their beloved dog. He has 4 children and 6 grandchildren!

Thank you Mr Tommy for all you have done, and we are so proud to be of assistance to such a hero in your retirement ❤💙

💜 **WE’RE WALKING TO END ALZHEIMER’S!** 💜

Every day at Visiting Angels, we have the privilege of caring for individuals and families whose lives have been touched by Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. We see firsthand the challenges these families face, but we also see their incredible strength, love, and determination.

This year, the Walk to End Alzheimer’s has an even deeper meaning for our Visiting Angels family. Our owner, Audrey Henry, is walking not only for the families we serve, but also for her own mom, who was diagnosed with dementia this year.💜

We’ve created a Visiting Angels Walk to End Alzheimer’s Team and we would LOVE for our community to help us make a difference!

You can support our team by making a donation of any amount or simply by sharing this post and helping us spread the word. Every $5, $10, $20 and every share can make a difference when a community comes together.

🇺🇸 Veteran Spotlight – Honoring Mr. Donald Weatherby 🇺🇸

This week, Visiting Angels is proud to honor Mr. Donald Weatherby for his service and sacrifice to our country.

Mr. Weatherby proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for two years, including serving in Vietnam. Like so many veterans of his generation, he answered the call to serve with courage, dedication, and honor.

Mr. Weatherby enjoys spending time with his loving wife, Melissa, their children, and grandchildren. Family is one of his greatest blessings, and he treasures every opportunity to make memories with them.

We are grateful for Mr. Weatherby's service, his sacrifice, and the example he has set for his family and community.

🇺🇸 ⭐ Veteran Spotlight: Mr. Ronnie Lewis ⭐ 🇺🇸

This week, Visiting Angels is honored to recognize Mr. Ronnie Lewis, a true American hero.

Mr. Ronnie proudly served our country for 9 years, 3 years in the United States Army, 4 years in the United States Marine Corps, and 3 additional years in military service. His dedication to our nation is something we deeply appreciate and will never take for granted.

He is also a proud father of two adult children and grandfather to three wonderful grandchildren, a role he treasures.

Life has brought Mr. Ronnie more than his share of challenges. Following complications from eye surgeries in 2017 and again in 2020, he became legally blind. Yet if you spend even a few minutes with him, you won't hear him dwelling on what he's lost.

Instead, you'll meet a man with an incredible spirit.

Mr. Ronnie continues to live independently with determination, courage, and a smile that inspires everyone around him. His positive attitude, resilience, and unwavering faith remind us that true strength isn't measured by the obstacles we face—it's measured by how we choose to face them.

Mr. Ronnie has truly captured our hearts here at Visiting Angels. His independence, kindness, and outlook on life are an inspiration to all of us. It is a privilege to be a small part of his journey and to help him continue living safely and comfortably in the home he loves.

🇺🇸 Mr. Ronnie, thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and for showing us what perseverance and grace look like every single day. We are proud to serve you.
