We’re busy as a bee today cleaning some gasoline tanks on a boat that has set up for over seven years. There is lots of ethanol varnish buildup on the inside of the tanks, but it’s no problem for our crew!

It’s the little things that can cause very big problems. We recently cleaned the fuel tank on the center console boat that had water intrusion in the fuel tank. The water was entering the fuel tank because the sending unit gasket was corroded. The sending unit gasket was corroded because the sealant around the deck hatches had not been replaced for many years.

We removed the water from the gasoline tank, polished the fuel, replaced the sending unit gasket, and resealed up the deck hatch leaving our customer very happy.
