National Terrazzo & Mosaic Association Founded in 1923, the National Terrazzo & Mosaic Association is a trade association. Its members are terrazzo contractors and suppliers.

We offer support to architects, designers, artists, specifiers, general contractors & maintenance professionals. Terrazzo is elegant and timeless, with endless design possibilities. Its long history over hundreds of years has proven its durability, sustainability, and performance. Today’s terrazzo flooring is an environmentally friendly material with optimum longevity and low maintenance. Terrazzo

can consist of marble, quartz, or granite aggregate, mother-of-pearl and/or pre-consumer and post-consumer recycled glass, porcelain and mirror chips, which are mixed with cement or epoxy and polished to produce a smooth, uniformly textured surface for floors, walls, stairs, curbs, counter-tops and even ceilings. Composed of low-VOC materials, terrazzo exhibits little or no off-gassing over the life of the cured floor. The non-porous finish resists microbial growth and moisture, helping to maintain a mold-free environment with improved indoor air quality.
