The Telecommunications Devices Access Program, or TDAP, provides free specialized communication devices for Oregonians who have difficulty using standard phones or equipment. These devices help make phone and internet communication more accessible for daily life, work, and emergency needs.

Ever feel like your phone is listening to your conversations? You are not imagining it. Many apps request access to your microphone and do not always need it.

Here are a few simple ways to take back control:

- Go to your phone settings and review which apps have microphone access, then turn off any that do not need it
- Do the same for your camera and location while you are at it
- On smart speakers like Alexa or Google Home, use the physical mute button when you are not using them

Spring is in full bloom right here in the Willamette Valley! As a proud part of the Gervais community, we at DataVision love seeing our neighbors get out and enjoy everything this beautiful area has to offer.

The Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm Festival is happening now through April 26th and it is the perfect way to spend the day with your family. With 40 acres of over 100 varieties of tulips, hot air balloons, wine tastings, a food and craft market, and a children's play area, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

The farm is just a short drive from Gervais and we think it is one of the most beautiful spots in Oregon this time of year. Snap some photos, pick some fresh cut flowers, and make a day of it!
