I am the provider of the permanent fix. Many repair people replace only the damaged part. They do not look into the cause of the failure, and the part may get damaged again. I solve the original cause of the failure, so the failure will not occur again for that reason. My greatest strength is in in analyzing failures and providing permanent fixes. I am a very good troubleshooter, who can introduce
long-lasting repairs, sometimes making the equipment work better than it was originally designed. This affinity for solving problems has awarded me with being a named inventor in seven U.S. I have many years of experience with computers. I am also willing to tackle, or at least look, at other equipment related problems. I am a troubleshooter and problem solver. Everything can be repaired. Sometimes they are not worth the cost of repair, and I will be honest about that. On the other hand, many things can be fixed with parts that are available from a broad range of suppliers. As an example of my willingness to tackle anything, I spent 2013 in Saco, Montana, caring for my ailing father. While I was there, I repaired a soft-serve ice cream machine, a milk shake mixer, a portable generator, an air compressor, a motel sign, and I painted the steeples of two churches. The steeple painting jobs came from repairing an old bucket truck that had been to several other shops before coming to me. The above list is incomplete. Let's just say that when dad died and I moved back to Homedale, there were quite a few people in Saco who were sad to see me go. It is easier to say what I will not do. I will not do new installations of electrical, plumbing or HVAC equipment. I do not have a state electrical, plumbing, or HVAC license. However, I can replace a toilet or a sink or en electrical outlet or switch. I can troubleshoot and repair these systems, as well as many other electro-mechanical systems. I have worked in the semiconductor and food manufacturing industries as an equipment engineer and a systems service technician, and I am very familiar with a wide range of industrial systems. I would like my customers to know that I am honest and hard working. I am a very good troubleshooter, and I can fix problems with which others have difficulty. I would like them to know that they can call me, and I may be able to help them over the phone. There is no charge for phone calls, and estimates are free. Potential customers should be sure to ask the provider how they would approach their problem. They should ask for and get a step-by-step outline of what the provider will do to make their problem go away. If the provider is not willing to at least outline an approach to the solution of the problem, then they should continue looking.
