Signs of a possible termite infestation to watch for:

🟤 Mud tubes along your foundation, basement walls, crawl spaces, or support piers — these are pathways termites use to travel from the soil into your home.

🪵 Wood damage such as hollow-sounding wood, blistered surfaces, or wood that crumbles easily when touched.

🪽 Winged termites (swarmers) — often spotted in the spring, especially around windows, doors, lights, attics and garages as they search for a place to start a new colony.

🪶 Discarded wings near windowsills, doors, or other entry points can be a sign that swarmers have been active.

🚪 Sticking doors or windows — changes can happen when termites damage or affect the structure of wooden areas.

South Jersey termite season:
Termite swarmers are most commonly seen in the spring (typically April–June). They are often mistaken for flying ants, but termites have straight antennae, a thicker body shape, and wings that are all about the same length. See some photos below 👇
