Some projects are bigger than fabrication.
Some projects become part of racing history.

Just over a month ago, our team at FinishLine Graphics was contacted by an attorney from New Jersey representing Penske Racing. He had found us online while searching for someone capable of recreating a very specific trophy from the 1995 PPG Indy Car World Series Portland race won by Al Unser Jr.

But this was not just another trophy project.

After that race, the win was stripped away from Penske Racing and Al Unser Jr. The case went through the court system, and ultimately the victory was reinstated after appeal.

The attorney who contacted us was the attorney who fought that case.

As he prepares for retirement later this year, he wanted something deeply personal for his collection — a recreation of the trophy tied to one of the greatest moments of his legal career.

Using only historical reference photos, our fabrication department recreated this piece completely from scratch.

Every curve, panel, rose detail, base angle, and finish was hand-built to honor the original trophy and the story behind it.

The plaque now reads:

“AL UNSER JR. — ON THE TRACK
STUART A. LAW, JR. — IN THE COURTROOM”

Honestly… this is one of those projects that reminds us why we love what we do.

Huge shoutout to our fabrication team for absolutely knocking this one out of the park.

We currently have a part-time production position open (2–3 days per week) with opportunity to grow into a full-time role as the company continues expanding.

🖨 What you’ll be doing:
✔ Running printers most of the day
✔ Assisting with production flow
✔ Organizing orders
✔ Helping keep the shop moving efficiently
✔ Learning additional equipment and production skills over time

What we’re looking for:
➡ Dependable

➡ Fast-paced worker
➡ Willing to occasionally work Saturdays
➡ Able to work in a busy production environment without needing constant supervision

This is NOT a “stand around and scroll your phone” type of position.

Print shop experience is great — but attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn matter more.
