We had a wonderful time celebrating a fresh new look for Gallop 'n Glitz during their Ribbon Cutting this past Friday!

Owner Shannon Holder and her team unveiled the boutique’s refreshed branding, including new colors and a new logo featuring Dolly, a beautiful Highland cow named after Dolly Parton. 🐮💖

Gallop ’n Glitz has been bringing western-inspired fashion to women since 1999, growing from a business that traveled to horse shows and western events into a destination boutique in Historic Downtown Grants Pass. Today, you’ll find premium denim, apparel, footwear, accessories, and plenty of Gallop ’n Glitz personality at their shop at 224 SW 6th Street.

During the celebration, Shannon shared her gratitude for the incredible staff and community who have supported Gallop ’n Glitz throughout the years, including the past nine years at their 6th Street location.

We were proud to celebrate The Orchid Grill’s 20th anniversary with a special ribbon cutting last Friday.

Over the years, The Orchid Grill has become more than a restaurant, it has become a place where employees, families, and community members have built lasting connections. Jenny Woodworth shared how meaningful it has been to see the children of longtime employees now joining the team, making the business a truly generational experience.

🎉 Celebrating 20 Years of The Orchid Grill ! 🌺

Last Friday, we had the honor of celebrating an incredible milestone with The Orchid Grill as they marked 20 years in business!

During the ribbon cutting, Jenny Woodworth shared how deeply the restaurant has become woven into the lives of its employees, customers, and community. One of the most meaningful parts of their story is seeing longtime employees’ children now joining the team, creating a truly generational workplace and a gathering place that feels like family.

For two decades, The Orchid Grill has been bringing a taste of Hawaii to Grants Pass with a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere and Hawaiian-inspired cuisine. They also offer takeout and catering, making it easy to enjoy their food for everything from a family meal to a community gathering.

Congratulations to Jenny, the entire Orchid Grill team, and all those who have been part of their journey over the past 20 years. We are proud to celebrate a local business that has created not only jobs and great food, but lasting relationships and community connections.

🌟 Celebrating Banjo Youngblood of The Medicine Show Revival! 🌟

Some people are Greeters because they show up to Greeters. Banjo is a Greeter because he shows up for people.

Warm, welcoming, joyful, and endlessly creative, Banjo has a gift for making the people around him feel seen, supported, and just a little bit happier. Whether he’s at a Chamber meeting or out and about in our community, he brings that same infectious spirit with him—and we’re so grateful for it!

Banjo goes out of his way to support others, lift people up, and make Grants Pass an even better place to live, work, and connect. His presence is absolutely felt throughout the Chamber Family, and we’re thrilled to recognize him as our September Greeter of the Month! 💛

Less than a week left to get your survey submitted. If you are operating a business in Grants Pass please take a few minutes let your voice be heard.

The Grants Pass City Council created the Small Business Task Force to help inform them of issues relevant to business owners in Grants Pass. The City is conducting an online survey on a wide range of topics that will help the Task Force collect data and prioritize issues impacting the local business community.

The survey is open only to business owners conducting business in the City of Grants Pass. Respondents must enter their Grants Pass Business Tax Certificate ID # to complete and submit the survey. If a business owner does not know the Business Tax Certificate ID number, they can call 541-450-6039 for assistance.

The survey will close at 11:59 pm on Monday, August 31, 2026.

🎱✨ Ribbon officially cut at The Game Cave

Last week we helped owner Jeff Mount turn a long–time dream into reality and open a brand-new social hub right in downtown Grants Pass. Walk through the doors at 420 SW 6th Street and you will find:

Six full-size pool tables, air-hockey, ping-pong, shuffleboard, foosball and darts
A growing library of board games, cards and dominoes, plus you can BYO favorites
Snacks, sodas and a jukebox soundtrack to keep the good vibes rolling

Play what you like for only $6 per hour. After the first hour the clock moves in 10-minute increments, or grab a day pass if you are settling in for a marathon session. Families, friends, date nights and league hopefuls are all welcome.

As part of the Chamber’s priority to “celebrate grand openings and milestone anniversaries” we are thrilled to see The Game Cave add a fresh, face-to-face gathering place to our business community.
