🚨 Tri-Cities Friends – Please Be Careful! 🚨

We've been hearing from more and more people lately about out-of-state pest control companies going door-to-door using extremely aggressive sales tactics. Many homeowners are being pressured into signing very expensive long-term contracts that can be difficult—or sometimes very costly—to get out of, only to end up disappointed with the service they receive.

One thing we've noticed is that local pest control companies simply don't operate this way. Most of these door-to-door companies aren't even based here. They often come from places like Knoxville, Nashville, or even farther away. Some even advertise a "local office," only for customers to later discover it's not a true local business.

We're not saying you have to choose Tilley Pest Control. We simply encourage everyone to support a reputable local company—someone who lives here, works here, and will still be here years from now if you need them.

If someone comes knocking on your door trying to pressure you into signing a contract on the spot, our advice is simple: don't feel obligated to answer the door or make a decision right then. Do your research, get multiple quotes, and choose a company with a proven local reputation.

(And yes... we've even heard of some of them riding around neighborhoods on electric scooters! 😂)

🇺🇸 Happy Memorial Day from Tilley Pest Control 🇺🇸

Today we pause not just as a business, but as Americans, to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave everything for this country. Memorial Day is more than cookouts, long weekends, and gatherings with family it is a day to reflect on the incredible sacrifice made by those who laid down their lives so we could enjoy the freedoms we often take for granted.

As Christians, we are reminded in John 15:13: “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”

There is no greater earthly sacrifice than giving your life for others, and today we honor those heroes who answered that call with courage, selflessness, and unwavering love for this nation. Because of them, we are able to raise our families in freedom, worship freely, work hard, chase our dreams, and live the lives we are blessed with every single day.

At Tilley Pest Control, we are incredibly thankful for all military families, veterans, and especially those who never made it home. We also pray for the families carrying the weight of that loss today. May God bring you peace, comfort, and strength.
