One month on the wrist. Nice and stealthy daily piece that wears discreetly on the wrist. From a distance it might resemble a G-Shock or even a smartwatch but up close, it tells a completely different story of a creative custom watch idea. This is my Black Swan watch, a homage to the Royal Oak designed by Gerald Genta.

Happy 501 Day! Been rocking 501s since my high school days and it’s hard to wear anything else now. Vintage selvedge denims were great but I find myself still going back to the vanilla 501s as my go-to jeans in the recent years. And yes, I had to take off my jeans to take these pics in my drawers.

The Seiko Pulsemeter S229-5001. Almost the same reference worn by the Colonial Marines in Aliens (it was the S234-501A). A pretty cool looking retro timepiece from 1982, pre-Fitbit/smartwatch era toolwatch that measures your heart rate during a long run.

Omex Denma by Omeco Japan, tribute to the unobtanium vintage 6241 Daytona. Posting this because I’m absolutely just luvin’ what these Omeco guys are doing. Their perverted parody of these classic grail watches are just pure amusement.

The Omex P*rngraph Denma from Japan and my finally finished minibricks Wangan Midnight Blackbid 911.

Notable differences on this Omex compared to my Evil Panda build are the fatter lugs, pump pushers, thinner crown and acrylic crystal. And of course that erotic (not exotic) dial is just cherry on top. This is a homage to the Daytona 6421 where my evil panda is the 6263. Both are also running on the mechaquartz VK63 movement.
