The weather might be cooling off but the pole barn builds are still HOT!
Check out this 26’x52’ barn pad that we prepped for our customer in Morgantown!
This seems like a nice and flat piece of property but there was over 14” of fall from the front to the back so we made sure to use up all of the excavated dirt from the pad to hold the sides in place. Makes for a nice, finished look while keeping the pad from eroding at the edges.

Vegetation will try to take over.. but you don’t have to let it win! This customer needed their driveway reconditioned and top-coated with some washed driveway stone to set off the newly renovated property. I think we nailed it 👌🏽

Once we got this barn pad dialed in with the laser, it was time to bring in some dirt to spread and grade so that we can help prevent any washout or erosion.

Having a driveway that cuts right through the woods is pretty amazing but unfortunately that comes a little extra maintenance that you may not have accounted for. When tall trees block majority of the sunlight, moisture left on the ground doesn’t dry so you start to develop moss and vegetation growth that, over the years, can be extremely difficult and TIME CONSUMING to get rid of.

We used this pick-up broom to clean up this driveway so that a local Seal Coating business could do their part.

One pass with the machine and it’s a total night and day difference!

With storms in the area, we weren’t sure if this one would get done on Friday, but luck was definitely on our side!

This 58’x 60’ pad has been graded and properly compacted so than the barn builders can start on the next phase. Remember, the best projects start with a great foundation!
