I’ve got several irons in the fire right now—business owners who have expressed interest in a website but haven’t quite taken the leap yet.

I understand that investing in a website is a big decision, but I truly believe a website is the digital billboard of your business. It works around the clock, showing potential customers who you are, what you offer, and how they can work with you.

Social media gets attention, but a website gives your business a professional home—and makes it easier for interest to become actual business.

Whenever you’re ready to move from ā€œthinking about itā€ to building it, Blue Ridge Creative Co. is ready to help.

From website build to ongoing partnership. šŸ’»

The new Jeremiah Publications website is live, but launching the site wasn't the end of the project.

Blue Ridge Creative Co. will also be providing ongoing website management as the organization adds new articles, publications and other content.

That's an important part of having a website that actually works for an organization long-term. Websites aren't meant to be built once and forgotten. They should be able to grow alongside the organization they represent.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to continue working with Jeremiah Publications beyond launch.

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

Going forward, I will no longer be publicly posting photographs from sessions involving babies or minor children on my business page or social media.

With how rapidly AI technology is advancing and how easily an innocent photograph of a child can be taken, manipulated, and turned into something it was never intended to be, I no longer feel comfortable putting my youngest clients at that risk.

As a photographer, I absolutely love sharing my work. But protecting the children trusted to me and respecting their privacy is far more important than anything I could gain from posting their photos.

I will still photograph babies, children, and families as usual. You will still receive your full gallery and are free to share your own photographs however you choose. I simply will not be using identifiable images of minors for my own public advertising or social media moving forward.

AI has created possibilities that I genuinely never thought we would have to consider when posting an innocent photograph of a child online. The fact that someone’s family photo, newborn portrait, or picture of their child can be taken without their knowledge and manipulated into exploitative or sexualized AI-generated content is enough for me to draw this boundary.

Until there are stronger protections and I feel confident that publicly sharing these images is worth the risk, this is the decision I am making for my business.

It makes me incredibly sad that this is even something parents and photographers have to think about, but this is the reality of the internet we live in.

No amount of engagement, advertising, portfolio building, or business exposure is worth potentially putting a child at risk.

Their privacy and safety will always matter more than my portfolio.

Your website has a job to do.

It should help someone quickly understand who you are, what you offer, and what they should do next.

If visitors have to search through multiple pages just to find your services, hours, contact information, or how to work with you, the website may look perfectly fine while still making your job harder.

That's something I pay close attention to when designing websites at Blue Ridge Creative Co. Good website design isn't just about making something attractive. It's about making information clear and helping visitors take the next step.

Not sure whether your current website is doing its job? I'd be happy to take a look.

Today is National Grief Awareness Day.

For churches, nonprofits, and community organizations, a website can be more than a place for announcements. It can quietly connect someone with counseling information, support groups, prayer resources, service times, or a person willing to listen.

Sometimes the most important page on a website is the one someone finds during a difficult night.
Take a moment today to make sure your support resources are easy to find.

šŸš€ NEW WEBSITE LIVE — WHO’S NEXT?

The new website for Jeremiah Publications, LLC is officially LIVE, and I’m incredibly pleased with how it turned out! šŸ’»āœØ

They now have a professional online home where visitors can learn about the company, explore their publications, read their latest content, and easily find the information they need.

That’s what a good website should do: work for your business, not just exist online.

So here’s my question…

šŸ‘‰ When someone looks up YOUR business, what does your website say about you?

If your business doesn’t have a website yet, or your current site is outdated, difficult to navigate, or no longer represents the quality of what you offer, I can help.

Through Blue Ridge Creative Co., I build clean, professional websites designed around your business and your customers. And I don’t disappear after launch — ongoing website management is available, too.

šŸ”„ I’m currently accepting new website projects.

If you’ve been putting off getting your business online or finally updating that old website, this is your sign.

A lot of website work happens before the finished design ever appears on a screen.

There are pages to organize, messages to clarify, photos to select, calls to action to place, and dozens of small decisions that help everything feel natural to the visitor.

That behind-the-scenes work is what turns a collection of information into a website that actually serves the business behind it.

Another project is taking shape, one thoughtful decision at a time.

After several days of designing, refining, and making sure every detail was right, another client website is officially complete! šŸ™ŒšŸ’»

Hearing, ā€œThe website looks great!! Thank you so much!ā€ made all the work worthwhile.

Thank you, Cheryl Jeremiah of Jeremiah Publications LLC, for trusting Blue Ridge Creative Co. to bring your vision to life. I’m proud of how the website turned out and excited for what it will do for your business!
