We’re hiring a Scientist I, Quality Control Analytical.

Candidates should have strong analytical method ex*****on, qualification, and validation experience. You’ll perform in-process, release, and stability testing for AAV vectors, plasmids, and cell banks, serve as a subject matter expert in nucleic acid-based, protein-based, or cell-based assays, and represent QC during audits and inspections.

We’re looking for a scientist who wants to make a significant impact on the success of our clients’ gene therapy programs by ensuring every product meets quality standards. Great science is paramount, but being able to communicate it is just as important.

Earlier this week, Jey Bouc, Ph.D., Senior Manager, Technical Sales & Scientific Advisory, joined Cleveland Women in Biotech and the Research Trainee Association of Cleveland Clinic for their panel, Science Communication as a Transferrable Skill.

Alongside fellow panelists from a variety of companies, Jey shared how strong communication shapes careers from the lab to industry and can open doors for women across the many fields within biotech.

This year, it was hard to miss how much the conversation has evolved as more AAV programs reach later stages of development. Manufacturing Day at the Hearth!

One of our favorite ways to celebrate National Manufacturing Day is by recognizing the vital work of our biomanufacturing colleagues and showing students how their expertise helps our clients bring potentially life-changing treatments to patients.

This year, we welcomed students from South Western City Schools to the Hearth to tour our facility, meet members of our team, learn how gene therapies are manufactured, and explore careers in biotech.

We're proud to announce our manufacturing partnership with the TECPR2 Research Foundation to advance an AAV gene therapy for patients with TECPR2, an ultra-rare neurodegenerative genetic disease.

The program brings together research led by Steven Gray, Ph.D., and his lab at UT Southwestern Medical Center with Forge's manufacturing capabilities to support the program’s continued advancement.

We’re honored to be part of the team working to create a path forward for the TECPR2 community.
