✍️ CMS Updated the FY 2027 Hospice Wage Index.
👌 SimiTree Dug Into the Details.

The corrected file went up yesterday, and our team compared it line by line with the original release to see what actually changed.

The largest wage index change we found was less than 0.03%.

For that CBSA, the change translated to just $0.02 in the routine hospice rate.

So while the correction was important and hospices should confirm their EMR reflects the corrected wage index values, the actual impact on your localized rates appears to be minimal.

🔎 Bottom line: If you were watching the updated release wondering how much your hospice’s rate might move, the answer is: probably not much.
