Have you noticed it?

The sun is rising a little later. The evenings are getting a little shorter. And even though summer isn’t quite over, you can feel that a new season is on its way. 🍂

Change often happens like that.

Not all at once. Not with a big announcement. Just small signs that something different is ahead.

Business can be the same way.

Exit planning doesn’t start when you’re ready to sell.

It starts when you decide to build a better business.

A good exit planning strategy helps you reduce risk, strengthen your team, improve your financials, and make the business less dependent on you.

Those things increase the value of your business someday.

But they also make it a 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆.

You may be years away from an exit. That’s okay.

The goal isn’t to predict exactly when you’ll leave.

The goal is to start creating options.
