What a wonderful time we had at The Art of Hosting!

EB Etiquette was delighted to partner with Carl's W**e & Spirits for an afternoon of w**e tasting, great conversation, and a little etiquette education!

We explored Modern Hosting & The Art of Being a Guest, the finer points of restaurant dining etiquette, and the proper etiquette of w**e presentation and service at the table—all while enjoying some exceptional w**es!

And one thing we were reminded of? The method may change, but courtesy still matters!

A special thank-you to Carl and everyone who joined us, shared their experiences, and made the afternoon so enjoyable.

Now, you already know… we are NOT going to agree on everything! 😂 And that’s perfectly okay!

Some conversations may even require us to take a deep breath, smile, and remind ourselves that we were raised better than what we’re thinking about saying! 😊

But here’s the thing: We can disagree without being disrespectful.

Courtesy doesn’t mean you have to change your mind, abandon your beliefs, or pretend to agree. It simply means recognizing that the person on the other side of the conversation deserves dignity, too.

And sometimes, the most gracious response is simply, “Well, we certainly see that differently!” 😉

👏 Congratulations to the participants of the Osceola McCarty Wings to Work Program who completed our Soft Skills Workshop! 👏

This group finished our signature six-session soft skills portion. Y showing up every day, digging in, and putting in the work as they train toward careers in trucking and the skilled trades.

They earned their Certificate of Completion by mastering the skills that don’t just get you hired, but keep you hired: showing up strong, communicating, working as a crew, staying steady under pressure, and owning their future. This is one big step on the road ahead. 💪
