🍽️ Building a Community One Meal at a Time
The lines were down the ramp, and the church was filled with smiles, music, and the smell of ono food. Nearly 300 people came out to share in a meal that felt like home — we even ran out!
On the menu: pork adobo and pancit, cooked with aloha. Big mahalo to Billy Colliado, Nitz Makio & Jessie Mineses.
And the desserts kept coming from the community — cascaron, suman, pineapple upside-down cake, and more.
For us at Pacific Termite & Pest Control, this one was close to the heart. Shirley, one of our owners, grew up right here in Pa‘auilo — so it was a true family affair. And for the first time in this tradition, the sponsors didn’t just sponsor — we joined the line and served alongside the volunteers. Kaeo rang the bell to open the event, and our awesome staff served the main meal.
More mahalo nui loa to St. Columba’s Episcopal Church, Pa‘auilo, and to Sharon & Josie Cariaga, and all the helping hands for this amazing opportunity.
