ProVision Solar, previously ProVision Technologies, was incorporated in 1998 and focuses exclusively on solar electric applications in Hawai‘i. Initially a subsidiary of Hawaiian Electric Industries, ProVision was purchased by Marco Mangelsdorf, one of the company’s original employees, and Douglas Bath in 2003. As a fully licensed electrical contractor (C-26351), ProVision specializes in offering grid-connected photovoltaic systems to homeowners and businesses. Our current focus is on the Big Island, but we also have many satisfied customers on Maui, Moloka‘i and Kauai. Locally owned and operated, ProVision Solar’s staff includes renewable energy veterans with decades of experience, licensed electrical and structural engineers, and skilled sales and customer service personnel. We do not sub out any of our installations; our crews are all ProVision Solar employees. We provide our customers with the highest quality commercial and residential PV packages available. In light of the highest electricity costs in the nation, the abundant sunshine across our Aloha State and substantial tax credits available, the reasons to go solar electric have never been more compelling.
