Another full load of donations after a decluttering session.

This time we worked through decorations for my client's primary residence. We talked a lot about what makes her happy each holiday, what she's excited to set out and enjoy, and what works well for her family. When we got clear on those truths, we knew what needed to go and what needed to stay.

I can't wait to share the shelves when we are finished with this storage space!

Yesterday my client and I cut her party decorations in half!

Stored away items are so quickly forgotten, but why let these things sit in storage for years without being loved or used?

Unused items in good condition can serve a new purpose by being donated (she filled a large tote to give away!). Items that are not worthy of donating can teach us lessons about our likes and dislikes, our buying habits, and more if we listen -- and my client has been listening so well, making all kinds of changes to create peace in her everyday spaces.

After spending the morning decluttering, packing each category (Easter, Hocus Pocus fun, Christmas...) into its own container was effortless. Let the next party planning begin! 🥳

This girl and her room are growing up!
I love that the daughter was part of each step: the decluttering, the organizing, and the product choices.

Letting her in means she AND mom can feel at peace in this updated space. After decluttering, books, toys, and papers, we traded hodgepodge items for matching totes, a deep hyacinth basket, a wide bookshelf, and a sweet little sewing tote for when creativity hits. 😊

Packed up and headed out!
This client chose the Happier package, which includes product shopping. I handle the searching, the buying, and the returning of products used to organize the space.

Today we'll be trying out hyacinth totes and clear lidded containers to see what looks and functions best in a child's bedroom.

And I can't forget my trusty pink SM bag with all of my organizing supplies!
