What if we're measuring the success of campus spaces the wrong way? 🤔
One trend we're seeing across all educational campuses is that students vote with their feet. They naturally gravitate toward spaces that feel comfortable, flexible, and welcoming. If one space on campus is always full while another sits empty, the furniture and layout might be telling us something.
As colleges and universities continue to invest in their campuses, the conversation isn't just about creating beautiful spaces. It's about creating spaces that support how students actually learn and build community. So, here's our question for the higher education community:
If you could redesign one space on every college campus, what would it be?
📚 The library?
☕ The student center?
💻 Active learning classrooms?
🌿 Outdoor study spaces?
💡 Or something else entirely?
We're curious to hear from higher education leaders, architects, designers, facilities teams, and industry partners. What's the one space that has the greatest opportunity to improve the student experience?
