Lion Inspection Services is seeking experienced NDT Inspectors and Helpers to support inspection operations involving Downhole Tools and Bottom Hole Assemblies (BHA’s) in the Houston Texas and Midland/Odessa, Texas area.

Experienced inspectors with their own qualified crew are also encouraged to apply.

What We’re Looking For:
✅ Experience inspecting Downhole Tools and BHA’s
✅ NDT inspection experience in the oil & gas industry
✅ Ability to perform inspections accurately and efficiently
✅ Strong knowledge of inspection procedures, equipment, and reporting

Normally, this type of fracture is easy to detect when our NDT Inspectors at Lion Inspection examine the entire length of the mandrel/drive shaft used on Drilling Mud Motors during inspection. However, fractures in these components are typically transverse rather than longitudinal, making this type of fracture unusual. I would appreciate your opinion on what may have caused the fracture to occur in this manner.

We are looking for NDT level II MPI, LPI, UT and VT inspector. Minimum 5 years experience in downhole/drilling tools. (Mud motors, shock tools, elevators, reamers, BHA, etc.) Also, experience in rig components. Weld inspection, etc.
