FBI HOUSTON IS WARNING PEOPLE NOT TO FLY DRONES NEAR WORLD CUP MATCHES OR FAN EVENTS IN HOUSTON, SAYING THOSE AREAS WILL BE TEMPORARY NO-DRONE ZONES AND VIOLATIONS CAN LEAD TO FEDERAL CRIMINAL CHARGES.

The warning comes as Houston gets ready to host FIFA World Cup 2026 matches at NRG Stadium, with federal officials saying Temporary Flight Restrictions will be in place around stadiums and fan festival areas during the tournament.

According to the FBI Houston repost and remarks shared by Deputy Director Christopher Raia, flying a drone near a World Cup match is not just against event rules. It can also be treated as a federal crime. Officials said fans and drone operators should check restricted airspace through FAA-approved B4UFLY apps or by visiting the FAA’s TFR website before flying.

This matters in Houston because the city is one of the official U.S. host cities for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and NRG Stadium is scheduled to host multiple matches. Federal aviation officials have already listed Houston among the stadium sites where match-day restrictions will apply.

Another reason this is getting attention is because drone enforcement is becoming a major part of World Cup security. Authorities have warned that restricted zones will cover not only stadiums, but also surrounding event spaces tied to the tournament.

DO YOU THINK MOST PEOPLE EVEN KNOW A DRONE NEAR THE WORLD CUP COULD BECOME A FEDERAL CASE?

🚨 DID YOU KNOW YOUR CAR CAN BE SEIZED AND YOU CAN BE FINED JUST FOR BRINGING THE WRONG FOOD INTO THE U.S.? 🚨

CBP officers in Laredo, Texas, discovered undeclared pork products, raw chicken, and mango pulp hidden inside a vehicle. The food was confiscated and destroyed, the vehicle was seized, and a $1,000 penalty was issued.

Many people don’t realize that certain meats, fruits, and agricultural products can carry diseases, pests, and contaminants that threaten U.S. farms and livestock. Because of that, these items must be declared when entering the country.

❓Did you know that undeclared food could cost you your vehicle and a fine?

MEMORIAL PARK’S FINAL SUNSET CINEMA NIGHT OF THE SEASON IS HAPPENING TOMORROW NIGHT IN HOUSTON.

Memorial Park Conservancy says the final event in its Sunset Cinema series is set for Friday, May 29, 2026, at Clay Family Eastern Glades, with a free outdoor screening of Hidden Figures. The movie is scheduled to begin at sunset, around 8:00 p.m., and the event listing shows programming running from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Organizers say the event is free and open to the public, and RSVPs are encouraged but not required. Food trucks are expected on site, and guests can also bring outside food and drinks, as long as there is no glass.

For Houston families, couples, and friend groups looking for something easy to do tomorrow night, this is the kind of event that usually gets attention because it mixes Memorial Park, a movie under the stars, and one of the city’s most popular outdoor gathering spots.

Another reason people may care is the movie choice. Hidden Figures is one of those films that tends to pull a wider crowd because it works for families, date night, and casual group plans all at once.
