A passageway can become a storage spot one delivery at a time.

Before your next owner walkthrough, ask the contractor:
• Where will packaging and offcuts be collected?
• Who removes them as the work progresses?
• How will the walking route and stairs stay clear when the work area changes?

OSHA’s construction housekeeping standard addresses debris clearance in work areas, passageways and stairs. These are useful owner questions to raise with the responsible team—not a substitute for its safety program or required inspections.

• mounting and warranty information is findable
• one person owns any remaining setup or correction
