🦌 Want more wildlife activity on your property? Don’t start by clearing everything in sight.

Good habitat isn’t about creating the biggest opening.
It’s about creating the right mix of food, cover, travel routes, and edge habitat.

That might mean:
🌲 Keeping thick cover where deer already feel secure
🌾 Creating strategically placed food plots
🦌 Connecting habitat with travel corridors
🚜 Opening trails without wiping out valuable cover
🌿 Managing brush and invasive growth in the right places

In our latest article, we break down how strategic clearing and forestry mulching can help turn an overgrown property into a smarter, more usable wildlife habitat.

Because sometimes the best habitat improvement isn’t clearing more.

It’s clearing smarter.

Today marks one year with our Commercial Manager on the team, and we couldn’t be more proud of the impact he has made.

From day one, his hard work and dedication have driven our growth. Especially as we’ve expanded into commercial clearing and rowe work.

Thank you for your relentless effort, leadership, and vision. We’re extremely grateful to have you on board and look forward to many more big milestones ahead!

We’re excited to announce a new addition to the MotorCity Hot Shot Land Development fleet — our Bandit 20XP whole-tree chipper.

This is a major investment for our company and another step toward expanding the size and scope of the projects we can take on.

The Bandit 20XP gives our crews the ability to process large trees and heavy material right on the jobsite, which means faster production, less material handling, and a more efficient clearing operation from start to finish.

For our customers, that means we can tackle larger land-clearing projects, right-of-way clearing, utility clearing, commercial development, and large-scale tree removal with more of the equipment handled directly by our own crews.
We’ve been steadily building our equipment fleet around one goal: being able to show up to a project with the right equipment and get the job done safely and efficiently.
Adding the 20XP is a big part of that.
We’re excited to put this machine to work and see what our crews can accomplish with it.

If you have an upcoming land-clearing, right-of-way, forestry, or commercial development project, reach out to MotorCity Hot Shot Land Development.

You can learn more about our services at

And stay tuned — you’re going to be seeing a lot more of this machine .

Your neighbor's already bragging about the buck he tagged. You're still staring at a wall of brush wondering where all the deer went.

Here's the thing nobody tells you: land clearing for hunting season has a window, and if you're waiting until the leaves are down, you've already missed the good part of it.

We broke down exactly when to clear, why early fall beats every other time of year, and what actually makes a shooting lane work (spoiler: it's not just "cut everything down").
