Building the digital infrastructure for the future of cell therapy. 🧬

Camila Vedia, Nick Privalov, and Jack Maser recently represented BioCytics Inc at the 2026 CDISC US Interchange, connecting with clinical research professionals and participating in training focused on clinical data standards.

The knowledge gained supports our ongoing work on BioDICE (BioCytics Digitally Integrated Clinical Enterprise), our integrated digital platform designed to support oncology clinical trials. As we develop BioDICE and advance our autologous cell therapy program toward future clinical development, standardized data structures and consistent data practices are important considerations in building an integrated clinical research ecosystem.

We appreciate the opportunity to learn from the research community and bring those insights back to our work.

A new publication advancing the conversation around point of care cell therapy. 🧬BioCytics and Carolina BioOncology Institute are proud to share our collaborative review, now published in Transfusion as part of the special edition Evolving Biotherapies: Stakeholders, Solutions, and the Science of Tomorrow.

The article explores a community based, point of care model for autologous adaptive immune cellular therapy, including regulatory considerations, affordability, and implementation. This publication reflects our continued commitment to translational research and advancing discussions around the future of personalized cellular therapies.

On Monday, September 14th BioCytics attended the UNCC Biomedical Symposium!

Dr John Powderly, Dr Renaud Warin and Ari Polanco had the opportunity to present the latest advances of the company.

It was an inspiring day for our team, as they spent the day meeting with researchers, academic leaders, and the next generation of talent driving the future of life sciences. Events like this reinforce the vital role local research hubs play in speeding up cancer research and bringing life-saving solutions closer to reality.

It was an honor to contribute to the conversation and see the groundbreaking work happening right here in our community.

BioCytics is excited to announce a new research collaboration with Eremid Genomic Services to advance our understanding of immune cells being studied for autologous cancer cell therapy. 🧬

Through single cell transcriptomics and TCR sequencing, this research will provide deeper molecular insight into immune cell characteristics, expansion, and reinvigoration. This type of characterization is an important part of advancing translational research and understanding the biology behind personalized cell based approaches.

We look forward to learning from the data and continuing to build partnerships that move innovative cancer research forward.

It’s National Postdoc Appreciation Week!🔬

Behind every breakthrough in cancer research are dedicated scientists asking important questions, exploring new approaches, and helping move discoveries from the laboratory toward the clinic. This week, we’re proud to celebrate two of our own postdoctoral scientists at the Human Applications Laboratory.

• Gaby Lizana-Vasquez, PhD, HAL Research Scientist III, whose work contributes to our cellular therapy research, with a focus on translating our bench research toward future human testing of our first autologous immune cell therapy, BCyIF1.

• Garrett Driscoll, PhD, HAL Research Scientist I, whose work supports our research through circulating tumor cell isolation and organoid models, helping us better understand cancer biology and explore new approaches to translational research.

Their expertise, curiosity, and dedication to scientific discovery play an important role in the work happening at BioCytics every day. We’re grateful for everything they bring to our team and to our mission of advancing innovative approaches in cancer research and cellular therapy.

Turning innovation into therapies starts with rethinking how we manufacture them. On July 23, the BioCytics team joined the G-Rex® Grant Tour in North Carolina for a day of conversations and exploration around the future of cell and gene therapy.

We were especially proud to see our Founder & CEO, Dr. John Powderly II, participate as a panelist during the Business Roundtable, sharing his perspective on biotechnology business models, the future of therapeutic development, and the growing role of Point-of-Care (POC) manufacturing.

Our scientific team also presented a poster highlighting how BioCytics is leveraging G-Rex® technology within our POC manufacturing platform to advance rare cell-based therapies for cancer.

BioCytics is proud to announce a strategic alliance with LIDE Biotech to advance screening platforms and companion diagnostics for immune based cancer cell therapies. 🧬

By combining BioCytics’ expertise in patient derived tumor and immune cells with LIDE’s advanced PDX, miniPDX®, and immuno oncology PDX models, this collaboration will help us investigate treatment response, resistance, tumor cell death, and the molecular pathways that shape therapeutic outcomes.

Our initial work will leverage patient derived biospecimens to develop models that can help bridge preclinical research and personalized cancer treatment.

We are excited to explore what this collaboration can uncover and to continue advancing approaches that bring promising immuno oncology research closer to the patients who need it.

This past week, BioCytics Inc was proud to attend the 2026 CMaT Annual Summit, with Gaby Lizana-Vasquez, Ph.D. and Ritvik Satyanarayanan representing our team and connecting with researchers, industry leaders, partners, and innovators from across the field.

Gaby joined the Industry Panel: “The Future of Cell and Gene Therapy Manufacturing,” contributing to an important conversation around the evolving landscape of manufacturing and the opportunities ahead for cell and gene therapies. Beyond the panel, our team had the opportunity to connect with collaborators and colleagues, exchange ideas, and explore new opportunities to advance innovative approaches to cell and gene therapy manufacturing.
