Spring has to be right around the corner right?

❄️ STORM UPDATE – 3/15–3/16 ❄️

If you’ve been watching the forecast… you already know.
This one could be a big one.

We have fully cleaned up from yesterday’s snowfall, fueled up, equipment checked, and crews ready to roll for what could be a major storm moving into northern Iron County & the western U.P.

Some forecasts are calling for significant accumulation, and conditions could change quickly.

⚠️ A few reminders for everyone:

• Safety comes first. If conditions become unsafe for our crews, we may pause operations until it’s safe to continue.

• It might be time to dig through the closet and put on your patience pants. Storms like this slow everything down travel, plowing, emergency services, everything.

• Our crews will begin snow operations once our trigger is met or as close to it as we can and will be working hard throughout the event, including cleaning up windrows and chasing city plows when possible.

These are the types of storms where everyone is doing their best just to keep up with Mother Nature.

We appreciate the support and patience while our team works to keep driveways and properties open.

🕒 Full-Time
💲 $20–23/hour (based on experience)

J&J Excavation Services and Snowfall Solutions are growing, and we are looking for a highly organized, motivated Office & Operations Administrator to support our excavation and snow divisions.

This is not just a receptionist position. We are looking for someone who can help manage scheduling, support field operations, assist with light bookkeeping, and help improve internal systems as we grow.

Responsibilities:
• Answer and manage incoming calls
• Schedule jobs using Jobber CRM
• Track and organize company expenses
• Assist with invoices and basic bookkeeping coordination
• Maintain organized digital records (Google Drive)
• Help document company procedures (SOPs)
• Communicate with snow removal customers during winter season
• Assist with permits and project documentation

Requirements:
• Strong communication skills
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software
• Ability to work independently
• Professional demeanor

Construction or dispatch experience is a plus but not required.

We are a fast growing company and looking for someone who wants long term growth with us.
