Auralex is working on acoustical improvements to the Kan Kan Cinema in Indianapolis, Indiana. Kan-Kan has 3 theaters that show current and classic features and independent films. In collaboration with Force Technologies, (https://www.force.tech/), we’re improving the acoustics in a new private screening room. One area of concern was to limit the transfer of noise from the HVAC system. To accomplish this, the ductwork has been sealed and wrapped with Auralex SonoFiber™ Roll to lower the noise floor, and Auralex ProPanels™ have been installed in certain areas to reduce reflections and improve the cinematic audio reproduction.
