☀️🎉 This weekend was SafeCare's annual Summer Bash! 🎉☀️

Our team traded in work boots for lawn games and service calls for family fun as we celebrated!

This is one of our favorite traditions of the year—a chance for our team members and their families to come together, relax, laugh, and enjoy a day filled with great food, great company, and plenty of fun. From kids' activities to friendly competition and everything in between, it’s our own SafeCare-style block party!

We’re grateful for the incredible people who make SafeCare what it is every day, and this weekend was all about celebrating them and the families who support them.

⚾ Family, Fun, and Baseball! ⚾

Last night, the SafeCare team enjoyed a fantastic Family Fun Night at Victory Field, cheering on the Indianapolis Indians alongside our families and loved ones.

Events like these give us the opportunity to step away from the day-to-day, connect with one another, and celebrate the people who support us both at work and at home. Thank you to everyone who joined us for a great evening filled with smiles, laughter, and baseball!

Meet Shelia Guenin – Board President of the Indiana Health Care Foundation

Shelia’s extensive career includes 25 years as the co-owner of Herrin Associates Consulting and 11 years as the Vice President of Long Term Care for Health & Hospital Corporation. A licensed Health Facility Administrator (HFA) throughout her career, she has served as an interim administrator for more than 30 facilities.

Her contributions to the field also include serving as an instructor for HFA preceptor training for both IHCA and LeadingAge. She has been a valued member of the Indiana Health Care Foundation (IHCF) board since 2005 and recently joined the board for Probari.

As President of our Board, we are honored to have Shelia to guide and direct us to serve the workforce of long-term care facilities in Indiana.

Meet Aaron Grindstaff – Board Member of the Indiana Health Care Foundation

Aaron is an experienced healthcare operations executive with over 20 years experience in long term care. He has spent the past 9 years working as a Regional Director of Operations for TLC Management where he provides operational oversite of 8 of TLC Managements healthcare properties throughout Northern Indiana.
Aaron is also a licensed nurse and has a strong clinical background and has held various nursing positions within long term care leadership. Aaron is passionate about using his experience and influence to mentor and develop other young leaders and to encourage others to enter into the long term care space.
Aaron spends his free time coaching both high school and club softball and providing individualized training for young athletes. Whether at work or personally, Aaron is passionate about serving and giving back to others.

We are honored to have Aaron has a seasoned board member for the Indiana Health Care Foundation.
